The access to the Estrada do Parque (Estrada do Paraibuna) is located at km 56,5 on the  Cunha-Paraty road.

Use the Guaratinguetá exit direction Cunha and Paraty, driving from São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

At km 56,5 on the Cunha-Paraty road you will see a sign indicating the access to the  Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar (20 km) and to the  Bairro do Paraibuna (9 km).

 The Estrada do Parque is not paved, but generally road conditions are good. 

Drive slowly in order to avoid possible potholes, to enjoy the scenery and to give way to the people and animals using this road.

To arrive at the Sitio Grota do Junco, use this map or ask for directions mentioning the “sitio da Dona Marlene”.

Public Transportation:

From São Paulo to Cunha: Terminal Tietê - Pássaro Marrom to Guaratinguetá. From there with Viação São José to Cunha.

From Cunha to bairro do Paraibuna there is only one school bus leaving the bus terminal around 6 pm. Exclusively during school days.

If you cannot catch this bus, we can arrange to pick you up at Cunha.
